Location, Location, Location

As we countdown to the 2014 IHAF Awards Show & Annual Conference on November 13 and 14, we thought it might be nice to feature an aspect of the event that we don’t usually highlight—the venue. This year’s show and conference is being held at one of Boston’s most fashionable and distinctive properties, The Liberty Hotel.

Previously Boston’s iconic Charles Street Jail, The Liberty Hotel opened in 2007 following a meticulous renovation and construction process. As the Wall Street Journal put it, "Spending a night in jail has become a luxury."

This deluxe facility boasts 300 guest rooms, five acclaimed drinking and dining establishments, and numerous original jailhouse structures like its legendary catwalks and vestiges of former prison cells.

The 90-foot central rotunda and cupola, built in 1851, will be home to the IHAF Awards on Thursday evening, November 13th. Attendees will feast on architecture and advertising with over 500 entries on display during our cocktail reception—followed by a seated dinner and distribution of 90 awards.

Almost as impressive as the work on display will be the meeting space you’ll enjoy throughout our expanded two-day conference. If you haven’t registered yet, you’ll want to reserve your seatsoon—before we sell out!

And if you’re traveling from out of town, IHAF is offering a special room rate right at the hotel. Book your room by October 14th to take advantage of discounted pricing for event attendees only. With breathtaking views of Boston and surrounding amenities of historic Beacon Hill, you’re sure to enjoy your stay!

Don’t miss the 2014 IHAF Awards Show & Annual Conference on November 13-14, 2014 at The Liberty Hotel in Boston.
